Stainless Steel K-type Thermocouple

Product image 1

Stainless Steel K-type Thermocouple

This K-type thermocouple has a stainless steel probe (20cm) and braided steel cable (1.3m). It's ideal for situations where durability and tolerance of extreme conditions are required when measuring temperatures, like ovens or freezers.

Thermocouples like these ones measure temperature at the very tip, so you'll want to put the tip of it at the point where you want the temperature reading to be taken.

You'll need a thermocouple amplifier, like our MCP9600 Thermocouple Amplifier Breakout, to use this thermocouple to measure temperatures.

Note: This is the grounded type of thermocouple where the tip/sheath weld together at the tip of the probe.

Specifications

  • K-type thermocouple
  • 20cm long/5mm diameter stainless steel probe
  • 5/16" (~7.9mm) threaded connector
  • 1.3m braided steel cable
  • Grounded at the tip
